Mr. and Mrs. H. Culver Land, 3114 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Sheri Elizabeth, to Rodney M. Isgrigg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert M. Isgrigg. The bride-elect is a 1977 graduate of Pensacola High School, Pensacola, Florida and is a junior at Indiana University Southeast majoring in special education. The prospective groom is a 1975 graduate of Jeffersonville High School, attends Prosser Vocational School and is employed locally. The wedding will take place May 17, at 2:30 in the afternoon, at Covenant Christian Church, Jeffersonville followed by a reception at the Hilton Inn, Jeffersonville. Formal invitations will be issued.

Land-Isgrigg Vows Read

Sheri Elizabeth Land and Rodney M. Isgrigg were united in holy wedlock in an afternoon ceremony at Covenant Christian Church, Jeffersonville, with Rev. W. T. Wing, uncle of the bride and Rev. Frank Hoffman, church pastor, officiating the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Culver Land, 3114 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert M. Isgrigg, 531 Chippewa Drive, Jeffersonville.

The alter was adorned with candelabra, palms and yellow and white floral arrangements. Wedding selections were rendered by organist, Mrs. Rick Catlett and soloist, Marlene Markert.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in her mother's wedding gown of ivory chantilly lace. The gown was designed in a princess "A" line silhouette, fashioned with long fitted sleeves and a chapel length train. The bridal veil was held in place by a headpiece of beaded satin and lace and the bride carried a cascade of yellow roses and daisies.

Barbara Cassiano, sister of the bride, Pensacola, Florida, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Robin Clay, Pensacola Florida; Dorothy McCoy, Bishop Texas; and Stacy Land, sister of the bride, Jeffersonville.

The attendants were attired in floor length gowns of sheer spring prints, ruffled at the hemline and sleeves, designed with a blouson top and a tie sash. They carried bouquets of yellow roses and daisies, accented by baby's breath.

Mike Barr, Jeffersonville, served as the best man. The ushers were Mike Smith and Mark Wheeler, Jeffersonville and Jim Cassiano, Pensacola, Florida.

The reception was held following the ceremony at the Hilton Inn, Jeffersonville. The bridal table was centered by a traditional wedding cake.

Out-of-town guests were from Virginia, Florida, Texas, Canada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

For her traveling attire the bride chose a white pant suits with a pastel colored blouse.

The bride is a graduate of Pensacola High School, Pensacola, Florida and is a junior at Indiana university Southeast majoring in special education. The groom is a graduate of Jeffersonville high School and attended Taylor University and Prosser Vocational school. He is employed locally.

Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the couple will reside in Jeffersonville.

The bride was entertained with several pre-nuptial parties.
