Ralph Merck, the young Gainesville inventor, has begun work on his new multiplane which will probably be ready for flight in April. His shops are situation near his home on Green street, and are a ... of busy activity.

He has secured a patent and letters of commendation from men of authority on the subject ...satisfy him that his machine will bring on a new area on the aeronautical world.

His machine is so constructed that a fall is barely possible, which is much wanted by aeronauts and no doubt but the young Gainesville inventor will make a success of his machine.

Although there is no date visible, Ralph Merck died in 1919.
