Stacy Turns on Christmas Lights
Pensacola natives will remember the fabulous Christmas lights that used to decorate downtown; one year, I got to turn them on in an official ceremony! It helped that the then Mayor of Pensacola, Bryant Liggett, was our next door neighbor.

DeMolay Honors Harry Wing
Harry Wing received an award from the Order of DeMolay; he is pictured along with his mother, Ruby Merck Wing.

Merry Christmas
Karen, Debby and Billy Wing appeared in a picture in the newspaper. The caption reads, "This scene is being duplicated thousands of times this morning as children, eyes widened with excitement, open their presents from Santa Claus. These happy youngsters are the children of Rev. and Mrs. William Wing. They are eight-year-old Karen, one-year-old Debby and four-year-old Billy." 1955.

The caption says, "M.G. Nelson says he knows of no rule that he must stand while watering the lawn of his Beach Drive home - and besides, sitting makes chatting with wife Barbara so much more convenient."
