Letter from A.W.D. Weis to Carl and Agnes Weis

August 14, 1908

Dear Bert and Agnes,

We received your expected telegram this a.m. and was so pleased that the critical time .....that you have another boy and Agnes and baby are doing so nicely. I strongly hope she will now be over her sickness and get up and be as well and strong as ever. Poor girl she certainly has had a seige of it and deserves to be good and well.

We are all anxious for a letter giving details and would like very much if you could drop us a line every day or two advising how both mother and baby are getting along.

Father is stepping high these days. Two grandsons in three months he thinks is going ??? He is well pleased that it is another boy.

I hope Agnes will get along as well as May did and that the baby will keep as well at H.W. Jr. they are both getting along nicely.

With love and best wishes for Agnes' speedy recovery, I remain.

Your Bro

A.W.D. Weis

PS. May will write in a few days. What does Carl think of his new brother?
