My dear Agnes -
I believe I am almost as much relieved as you are. I am so happy for you - the telegram just came and I believe the baby must have come on my birthday tho' the time is written very poorly.
Vern is in New York will be home Sunday.
Oh! Agnes. I would give anything to see you and the dear baby - Just as soon as I read the message I began planning when we could see one another. I ran over to tell Lollie. She sends congratulations. The Davis girls are very much interested - their mother is quite ill so I haven't been over to tell them yet.
What did Carl say? I have dozens of questions to ask and will go slow.
I do hope you're getting along nicely and can give your baby his dinner.
Agnes, don't try to get up too soon. I really believe nearly everyone does. I know just how anxious you ??? get ??? take it easy.
I send just loads of love to you and baby -
Sallie
